Welcome to openwarfare.org.  As technology has become cheaper, easier to use and more robust, the idea of open sourced weapons systems build from off the shelf components has become quite feasible.  Openwarfare.org is meant to be the go-to site for all things related to DIY warfare.  I know this probably seems controversial and perhaps even dangerous to some people.  I have thought long and hard about the site and the potential repercussions of making it live.  I believe that ultimately the site has more potential for good than for evil.  I’ll write more on this later.  For the time being this site will be a clearing house for news and other information related to open source weapon systems.  Ultimately I would like it to evolve into a set of tools, guidelines and resources for those of us out there who are interested in developing open source weapon systems.
